The Usedom-based group of companies Pier 14 has been a MARC O’POLO franchise partner since 2014. In 2015, MARC O’POLO approached its three managing directors – Jana and Gert Griehl and Stefan Richter – with the idea of developing the world’s first MARC O’POLO concept store. The trio share a passion for modern premium fashion and unusual shopping concepts.

The Story

The MARC O’POLO STRANDCASINO’ – the first concept store by MARC O’POLO. Inspired by the historic beach casino of 1897.

In 2017, MARC O’POLO breathed new life into the original idea of the 1897 department store with the STRANDCASINO’. A unique combination of casual fashion and a smart gastronomy concept is once again coming into being here 120 years later.
